Regarding routes, we recently noticed our mongrels were really struggling after a semi-major release and while I found a few smaller things that could be optimized, your post on routes and how to modify them to use less memory was very helpful. And now performance is back to normal. I'm looking forward to the "very interesting enhancements to rails routing" post also. Thanks for the post.
